I live in Bendigo with my partner Aydin and our two dogs Impi and Betty. I’m your typical dog Mum and my camera roll is 95% photos and videos of my pups.

I love all kinds of animals and the protection of wildlife and nature is something very close to my heart. Keyword nature - it’s my place to recharge, my energy and creativity source, which is why I take most of my photos outdoors!

Travel is a huge passion of mine and exploring new, untouched places makes my heart sing. This actually got me here in the first place! I’m originally from Germany - what started as a six month backpacking holiday quickly turned into long term plans when I met Aydin.

When I’m not taking photos or travelling, you can probably find me tucked in one of my big fluffy blankets reading psycho thrillers, sipping Chai and listening to music - from 80’s Metal and Classic Rock to Indie, good tunes are life and my playlist got it all! My sense of humour is 100% sarcasm and I certainly love a good meme.

I’d choose going out for breakfast over going out for dinner any day (particularly if it involves avocado & sauce hollandaise). I love the smell of coffee, but hate the taste, so I decided to stick to hot choc and tea 4 life. My favourite animals are ducks - because, let’s be real, it’s gotta be the coolest thing that an animal with such an oddly shaped body can stand, walk, fly AND swim.

In 2017, I got my Bachelors degree in Business Psychology - I have a huge passion for HR management and discovered my love for photography about 2 years later. Ever since then, I’ve been using almost every spare minute besides my full time job to practice and learn more & more about camera settings and editing techniques.

I was born in Germany and lived there until I finished my studies back in 2017. I never thought that I would move countries EVER! I came to Australia to backpack - aka work & travel. I ended up working as a nanny for a wonderful family in Bendigo and met my partner Aydin at Groovin the Moo - the rest is history & I am so glad I still get to enjoy living in this beautiful country 3 years later!

My philosophy

Looking back at pictures from my childhood, my favourites are the ones that are in the moment, no one looking at the camera, as if it’s not even there. Me smiling at my grandpa, holding his face. It gives me a warm feeling in my stomach and tears in my eyes. Everyday moments that turn into magic and lifelong memories.

Emotional connection is the base of all my work. My approach is documentary rather than posed. I truly believe that meaningful moments can only be captured by creating trust. My aim is genuinely get to know you and create a safe space for you to be yourselves. Anyone can take a pretty picture, but I am here to capture the real stuff.

Wild at heart

My ultimate goal is to photograph fambams, intimate weddings and elopements all over Australia and New Zealand. Aydin and I are both passionate travellers and have also bought a van together, which we are slowly converting into a home on wheels to take all the way around Australia.

There is truly nothing I love more than combining my passion for people photography with beautiful, serene landscapes. I mean what’s better than 6am mornings at mountain tops and empty beaches and hot chocolate from a little local coffee shop to start your day?
